Paris has many parks and well designed gardens. In fact, I think this huge amount of gardens and parks is a major responsible for making the city so elegant and unique as it is. Unlike other large cities of the world, Paris doesn’t have that aspect of “urban jungle”. Some gardens are very famous and are among the first things that should be known in almost all guides to Paris, for example, the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Tuileries, the Champ de Mars, the Jardin des Plantes and the Parc Monceau. We have others that are less well known, but are also wonderful! You’ll find below three gardens that I bet few people have listened about!
Albert Kahn
The feeling that this park gives us is that we’ve been transported to Japan. It’s inside the Albert Kahn Museum in Boulogne-Billancourt and has everything that you’re expecting to see in a Japanese garden. It features oriental bridges crossing the pond where lotus flowers float and carps swim. It gets even more beautiful by the time the cherry trees are blooming!

Parc de Bagatelle
Few people know that there’s a château in the center of Paris. I guess that’s probably why its gardens aren’t being explored by who is visiting the city. It’s really worth it to visit this place: it has luscious grasses with beautiful garden roses where peacocks keep roaming the grounds.

Buttes Chaumont
Buttes Chaumont is park located in the 19th arrondissement that definitely has not been discovered by tourists. Is has a lake and some pretty awesome views to the city.
