I visited the Alber Elbaz Exhibition / Lanvin: Manifest which was developed by Albert Elbaz and his team yesterday. The purpose of this exhibition is to bring visitors the excitement that precedes the Lanvin fashion shows and the beauty of the fashion creation process. Throughout the exhibition halls, the atmosphere of the place tries to show the designer’s work as a continuous dialogue between fashion and photography. Lanvin is simply the oldest Parisian fashion house still active and, of course, a bit of its history is also shown there. Hundreds of pictures signed by renowned photographers transcribe all the passion of the brand for fashion throughout the space. In a separate room, we see clothing items on mannequins on its creation process accompanied by photographies. The exhibition is on display from çth September to 31st October 2015 at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie. It is open to the public Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.
