Oxford Street is the largest shopping street in Europe. As it has about 300 stores, the area is a popular starting place for many shopping tours through London. As the rents attached to Oxford Street are quite expensive, you’re going to find more famous massive brands that can afford them on this area of the city. So, the place can be really crowded of people looking for low prices depending on the moment you go there and it’s better to think twice before you go shopping at Oxford Street to avoid long queues. But the street is unrivaled in its offering of cheap high street shopping and jumbo department stores. Topshop, Gap, River Island and big department stores including Selfridges, John Lewis, House of Fraser and Marks & Spencer are some of the brands you can find there.
