Volez, Voguez, Voyagez- Louis Vuitton

Grand Palais is a wonderful building in Paris that always brings very special exhibitions to there special throughout its rooms. Quite required by the fashion world, it’s currently the scene of the amazing exhibition “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” by Louis Vuitton. It’s a free exhibit that tells a little bit of the long story of the brand and how its products have evolved over time. Louis Vuitton is the French fashion house that has the greatest tradition in the production of bags and trunks. It began its history in 1854 producing handmade suitcases and bags in a small workshop. The recognition of its work came when the brand invented a new bag format that had a different standard from what existed at that time. Actually, the famous print and monogram of the brand were created later to try to combat counterfeiting around 1900. Another curiosity shown in the exhibit is the famous Steamer bags were born as a bag for dirty clothes. Personally, I also loved to see the brand exposing all its passion for travel as a frame for the products that were being displayed there. Thus, it was possible to learn a little more about how travel and transportation have evolved over the years while we could also see all the history behind the products produced by this iconic French fashion house! “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez” is open until February 21st, 2016.
